Important info before travel

The minimum age to skydive in Australia is 16 years old. All minors under 18 years of age need their parent or guardian’s written permission to skydive. There is no maximum age, but we reserve the right to refuse a skydive based on age, weight and health to ensure everyone’s safety. Contact us to discuss your particular situation if you are unsure.

For safety reasons, the weight limit to skydive in Australia is 110 kg. We weigh each person at check-in, over 95kg charges apply:

Over 95kg: +$25
Over 100kg: +$50
110kg: +$100

A tandem skydive usually lasts between 45 and 60 seconds. The orientation of your body makes quite a difference. Experienced skydivers, in a head-down freefall, may experience speeds of up to 450 km/h and a shorter skydive. Skydives in a “belly to earth” position, like tandem skydives, usually last up to 60 seconds, due to larger areas exposed to the relative air in freefall and relatively lower speeds, still reaching up to 200km/h!

The ride isn’t over once the parachute opens! You now have 5 – 7 minutes to take in the views while enjoying a serene parachute ride. You could even ask your instructor to have a go at controlling the parachute.

You are responsible for providing us with the names and contact details of all individuals in your group. Last minute additions to the group are required to pay in full prior to arrival at the drop zone. Additions made on the day may incur a delay to your jump time. We always try to assign groups to the same aircraft, but this is not always possible due to operational requirements. No refunds will be made available where we need to change the group configuration.

It affects aircraft weight and balance, fuel allowances, climb rates and equipment maintenance.   Every customer will be weighed at check- in.  We must be informed at the time of booking if a customer weighs 95kg or more.  Please note the maximum weight for tandem skydiving is 115kg.  We reserve the right to refuse service based on weight if we consider it a safety issue.  The following weight surcharges apply:

Purchasing Photos and Videos:  Whilst it is not mandatory to book a video or photographs, it is advisable, as on some occasions a late change of mind may result in disappointment.  If there is a technical issue and all footage is unavailable, you will be offered a second skydive on the same day with videographer at no extra charge, or a full refund of your video/photo product.  Please be advised that should there be any technical issues relating to camera/dubbing equipment, no refunds can be made for the individual skydive as the filming and skydive are two separate products.  If only a portion of your video or photo product fails, you will be issued with a refund for the balance of the amount paid less the value of the product received.
