Important info before travel

The minimum age to skydive in Australia is 16 years old. All minors under 18 years of age need their parent or guardian’s written permission to skydive. There is no maximum age, but we reserve the right to refuse a skydive based on age, weight and health to ensure everyone’s safety. Contact us to discuss your particular situation if you are unsure.

For safety reasons, the weight limit to skydive in Australia is 110 kg. We weigh each person at check-in, over 95kg charges apply:

Over 95kg: +$25
Over 100kg: +$50
110kg: +$100

A tandem skydive usually lasts between 45 and 60 seconds. The orientation of your body makes quite a difference. Experienced skydivers, in a head-down freefall, may experience speeds of up to 450 km/h and a shorter skydive. Skydives in a “belly to earth” position, like tandem skydives, usually last up to 60 seconds, due to larger areas exposed to the relative air in freefall and relatively lower speeds, still reaching up to 200km/h!

The ride isn’t over once the parachute opens! You now have 5 – 7 minutes to take in the views while enjoying a serene parachute ride. You could even ask your instructor to have a go at controlling the parachute.
