This three-day trip includes accommodation in the Grampians, surrounded by kangaroos and cockatoos. Your travel itinerary

We go from the city through the Adelaide Hills to the Grampians National Park. Which is listed on the National Heritage List, to see the imposing and untamed mountain ranges and famous panoramas. As you pass across Victoria’s western plains, see how the mountain range gradually expands as you get closer. We spend the afternoon wandering through this enchanted setting and marvelling at the breathtaking sights. Before spending the night in Halls Gap, in the heart of the Grampians, take a hike to the base of MacKenzie Falls and explore other well-known lookouts, such as The Balconies and Boroka Lookout. (D) 510 kilometres of driving distance. 2-kilometer hike.

Early morning hike to the famous Pinnacles overlook for a spectacular view of the Grampians to start the day. Later, go to the Tower Hill Conservation Reserve, a region rich in Indigenous history and an extinct volcano teeming with Australian fauna. With its sandy beaches and expansive ocean vistas, the seaside town of Warrnambool is a great place to unwind at the end of the day. (B) 190 km of driving distance. 4.5 km of hiking.

The final day involves a drive along the renowned Great Ocean Road. Starting with the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, and London Bridge, where you will have plenty of time to capture this amazing rock formation from every viewpoint, come the highlights. Before lunch at the well-known beach resort of Apollo Bay, where you may stretch your legs while window shopping or dip your toes in the ocean, go on a guided rainforest walk in the Great Otway National Park. Before tackling the last stretch of the Great Ocean Road, we stop to look for koalas. The route will wind and curve as you follow it to its conclusion, making stops at Memorial Arch and one or more well-known surf beaches.
