Our Kangaroo island day tour begins with and early departure from Adelaide central bus station. We head down to Cape Jervis to jump on the ferry and head across to Kangaroo island. To experience the amazing day ahead.
First up we head to Seal Bay Conservation park where a National parks ranger will take us on a guided beach walk among the local colony of wild sea lions. It’s a once in a lifetime experience as we witness these amazing animals play and laze about on the beach.
Vivonne Bay Bistro is our next stop on the south of the island. Where we enjoy a delicious two course lunch.
In the Afternoon we find ourselves in Flinders chase national park. This area was hit by a terrible fire in January 2020 but as we walk through you will see how it has regenerated. There’s plenty of opportunities for wildlife encounters here including wallabies, reptiles, echidnas and of course koalas.
Admirals arch and the remarkable rocks are two of the most iconic locations on Kangaroo Island and provide many great photo opportunities. Here we’ll see the rugged coastline and hopefully some playful fur seals as we walk along the boardwalk.
Our last visit of the day is to Kangaroo island Wildlife Park to get up close to some Koalas and feed Kangaroos. Theres also a keeper talk we can listen to about the islands cuddly mammals.
After enjoying our amazing day on Kangaroo island we return to Penneshaw for our ferry and head back to Adelaide. We hope you enjoyed your Kangaroo island day tour.
