We begin our Kakadu tour by travelling to board the Corrobboree Billabong for a wildlife cruise. This is a fantastic chance to see crocodiles and the abundant wildlife in their natural environment. We start our drive towards Kakadu National Park after the cruise.
Take a break and have a picnic lunch close to the East Alligator River where you might get a chance to see some crocodiles and flying foxes! Next, proceed to the park’s north, where the renowned Ubirr is located. Here you can find some of the finest examples of rock art from northern Australia. Your tour guide will explain the art and the significance of these exceptional paintings. Amazing 360-degree views over the Nardab floodplains and into Arnhem territory are the reward for the ascent to the top.
We spend the night camped out at our secluded safari camp near Mardugal Billabong in Kakadu. Enjoy sipping a cold beverage or toasting a marshmallow while relaxing around an open campfire.
