Description

Pro Dive Cairns 5-Day Learn-to-Dive Package Includes The most common way to combine the challenge of learning to dive with the enjoyment of exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Great Barrier Reef is on a liveaboard.

Warm water, little current, and excellent visibility all year. The Great Barrier Reef is the ideal location for learning to dive.

Pro Dive Cairns Learn to Dive Pool & Theory, 2 Days

5 Day Pro Dive Course The Learn to Dive with Liveaboard course is divided into two parts:

The first two days will be spent at the Pro Dive five-star Padi training centre. You will learn dive theory in air-conditioned classrooms and basic scuba diving techniques in the pool.
The Pro Dives sophisticated training centre is centrally located in Cairns City and boasts the region’s deepest four-metre diver training pools. Providing a professional and risk-free learning environment

Pro Dive Cairns Learn to Dive 3 Day 2 Night Liveaboard

The second part of the Pro Dive course, then it’s off to The Great Barrier Reef for a 3-day, 2-night liveaboard trip to become a certified diver!

You will be able to participate in up to nine dives once you arrive at the Great Barrier Reef. However, the first four dives are training dives that will finish your PADI Open Water Certification.
After you’ve done these, you’ll be able to enjoy five recreational dives. One of these is a thrilling night dive with your dive instructor. This is a very personalised certification course, and you will have the same instructor throughout.

However, by diving at different times of the day, you will be able to see an incredible variety of species. Giant clams, beautiful sea turtles, graceful stingrays, reef sharks, and an astounding diversity of tropical fish are all present. And amazing coral formations. With reliable underwater visibility. Night diving will open up a whole new world of nocturnal sea life.

Your safety and comfort is our number one priority. Please let our experienced instructors know if you are worried, stressed or not feeling well at any point.

Before commencing your dive course, you are required to complete the self-assessment Entry Level Student Diver Medical Declaration. A positive response to any question indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you must consult a medical practitioner, preferably with experience in diving medicine, to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.

To obtain a copy of the Entry Level Student Diver Medical Declaration, please click here. The medical must be completed within 90 days of starting your dive course.

The minimum age to learn to dive in Queensland is 10. There is no maximum age.

It is a dive course requirement that you be able to swim 200 metres or snorkel 300 metres and tread water/float for 10 minutes.

We recommend that you do not fly within 24 hours of diving. The earliest you should fly is 12 pm (midday) on the day after your trip concludes.

You can cancel your learn to dive course for any reason up to the end of day 1 (7pm) of the course and receive a full refund of all money paid to Pro Dive Cairns. There is no refund for any reason after this time. If you have booked through a travel agent cancellation fees may apply. We recommend that all customers have travel insurance.

The number of dives may vary subject to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.
