We explore the greatest of Kakadu, Come along on the trip of a lifetime with us on this fantastic Kakadu day tour. We leave the tropical Darwin and travel across the fertile floodplains to the 20,000 square kilometre Kakadu National Park. Which is home to an array of species, significant Aboriginal rock art sites, and varied scenery.
A Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River is our first stop of the day.
We’ll make a stop at the Bowali Visitor Center to hear more about the fascinating history and culture of the Aboriginal people, and have lunch (at own expense). We’ll go to the well-known Cahills Crossing, the only road access point between Arnhem Land and Kakadu National Park, to look for crocodiles in this fascinating body of water.
Visit the sacred Ubirr rock art site, which is on the World Heritage List. one of the oldest and best-preserved collections of rock art in the world. Children aged 6 to 12 are subject to child fares. Due to safety precautions and the level of athleticism needed to finish the treks, infants and kids under the age of 5 are not recommended.
In the Northern Territory, the weather can change drastically. In the dry season, it is not unusual for temperatures to exceed 50 degrees Celsius, and the temperature drops sharply at night. Please make sure you have brought appropriate clothing and that you have looked up the normal temperatures for the period of year you will be travelling.

We highly recommend all passengers have travel insurance coverage. GLT retains the right to alter routes, itineraries, bus type, fares, days of operation. Or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur. Other accredited tour operators may be used from time to time on some tours. Fares are shown in Australian Currency and are correct at the time of printing but are subject to change.

For us to confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide all requested details at the time of booking. We will collect certain information from you when you wish to book a trip, this information will be kept on file for 30-days for the purposes of contact tracing. We understand that travel plans can sometimes change. if you cancel some or all portions of your booking the cancellation terms set out below will apply. A cancellation will only take effect when we receive written confirmation that you have sent. To your relevant booking agent notifying them of your cancellation.
If you wish to change or cancel a trip:
Day Trips
(a) Flexible Date Changes – unlimited supply of free date changes available up until 7-days prior to departure; or
(b) 2 to 7-days prior to departure:
(c) 8-days or more prior to departure,
(d) failure to board on tour or cancelled within 2-days/48-hrs will result in full fare forfeiture of the ticket price and not eligible for a refund; or
(e) cancellation prior to departure due to you having COVID-19/ “flu-like symptoms”, supported by a medical certificate, we will refund 100% of monies paid by you either directly or via your booking agent.
