Our tours take you into the best areas of this environmentally sensitive region of K’gari ( Fraser island) and help you discover its precious eco-systems, abundant wildlife, and natural beauty.
Throughout the day, you will touch on and appreciate nature’s magnificent paradox.
Seemingly endless golden beaches encompass towering hardwood forests, barren heathland, pristine rainforests, huge creeping sandblow deserts, crystal-clear freshwater lakes, gurgling blood-red streams, prehistoric ferns, and mosaic-colored sands.

Your travel itinerary
- Experience K’gari (Paradise)
- Once we depart Rainbow Beach, we make the Fraser Island crossing from Inskip Point to Hook Point by vehicle ferry. Keep a watch out for dolphins.
- Northward bound: travel by 4WD along the seemingly endless golden highway of 75 Mile Beach. Awesome.
- Inland sand tracks through heathlands, towering hardwood forests, sub tropical satinays, kauris, etc.
- Swim and unwind at crystal-clear Lake McKenzie or Lake Birrabeen, famous for their turquoise colours and fine, dazzling white silica sands.
- Delicious “Aussie style” daily fresh bush picnic lunch with welcome icy cold beer, wine, and soft drinks (included).
- Wanggoolba Creek is a pristine rainforest with prehistoric ferns. Home to Angiopteris Evecta, a luxurious canopy of palms and vines.
- Let’s go; there’s still plenty to do.
- Eli Creek, swiftly flowing—nature’s paradox. Time for a lazy dip. Refreshing.
- The shipwreck of the SS Maheno, built in Scotland in 1904, has been a permanent fixture on the Northern Beach since 1935.
- Our group will plan to be back in Rainbow Beach at about 4 p.m. and in Noosa at 5.30 p.m., depending on the tour routes we have taken for our unforgettable day out.
- The tour itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen conditions or circumstances on the day.

As we are a small company and prepare all our own food, cancellation fees apply:
a) after 3.00pm day prior to tour – 100% of fare
b) failure to board – 100% of fare.
Prices are subject to change.
All bookings made before 24 hours prior to date of travel must be confirmed before 3pm the day prior to travel.
Bookings made after 3pm the day prior to travel the customer must contact Fraser Island Adventure Tours to make sure booking is secured, we cannot guarantee bookings made without contact being made for the next day’s travel.
