Description

Silversonic is a modern 29-metre catamaran that tours the Agincourt Reef complex’s outer edge reef areas. Second, you’ll spend nearly five hours experiencing the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef aboard Port Douglas’ fastest yacht. Silversonic’s ride control mechanism offers an exceptionally smooth ride, even at speeds of up to 32 knots.

The experienced and informed crew will choose three sites from more than 35 exclusive Agincourt Reef locations, selecting the finest spots on the day based on weather conditions.

If you are also looking at doing a trip out of Cairns, check out Silversonic’s sister boat, Silverswift

Snorkel and Dive

Above all, the vessel is perfectly equipped for all levels of diving and snorkelling; qualified divers (at an additional cost) can undertake up to three dives, while beginner divers can enjoy up to two dives with no experience required. However, if you enjoy snorkelling, there are three distinct snorkelling spots to explore. However, in between water sports, travellers can unwind on the vast sundecks that overlook the Great Barrier Reef.

But don’t worry if you’ve never snorkelled before! Our crew will provide teaching; however, we do urge that you be able to swim and be reasonably fit since snorkelling can be a rigorous activity. If necessary, flotation gear and buoyancy vests are provided on board. Prescription masks are also available at no additional charge.
Moreover Join the guided snorkel trip to learn more about the marine life around you as the marine interpreter conducts you over shallow coral gardens, pointing out fish and marine life, corals, and points of interest along the route.

In conclusion, Silversonic will show you some of the best reefs located outside of Port Douglas.
