Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is 40 kilometres (40 minutes) north of Cairns. and located 25 kilometres south of Port Douglas on the Captain Cook Highway, And is one of Australia’s longest continuously operating tourist attractions. The company originated in 1934 as a rest stop for tired truckers.
Furthermore Hartley’s is the best place in North Queensland to watch crocodiles up close. During your visit, take a 25-minute boat ride on Hartley’s Lagoon. And see crocodiles in a coastal melaleuca wetland ( included in ticket).
The crocodile farm currently takes up more than 15 hectares of woodland. There is an abundance of native vegetation and fauna there. Providing an authentic wildlife experience.
With over 2,500 metres of hardwood boardwalks and pathways lead visitors on a discovery adventure through forests, rainforest, and melaleuca wetlands.
