Fitzroy island Adventures cruises to Fitzroy Island allow you to explore the rainforest, the reef, and a tropical island all in one day.
Fitzroy Island Adventures catamaran cruise takes about 45 minutes. And will follow the coastline rather than venturing out into the open sea.
You may spend the day on Fitzroy Island swimming or lounging on the beach. If you prefer to explore the island on foot, there are numerous hiking paths that snake through the rainforest and along the coast. The underwater world is also full of wonders. Including a plethora of colourful fish and coral that can be seen while snorkelling. Consider the parrotfish’s rainbow colours. Keep an eye out for clown fish dashing in and out of anemones. And discover how many different species of aquatic creatures you can spot in the Great Barrier Reef’s splendour.
Fitzroy island Turtles
Most importantly this package includes your snorkel hire for the day. Once you pick up you snorkel gear head to the beach and see if you can spot a turtle having a swim. But remember don’t get to close to them as you don’t want o stress them out. And if your up for it snorkel around to Nudey beach.
FOXY’S BAR & CAFE
In addition If you’re wanting to quench your thirst, Foxy’s is a large Pacific Islands bar located just on the beach. around 100 metres south of the main creek from the resort buildings (on the way to Nudey Beach). Foxy’s Bar has the best seaside sunset view, pool tables, a dance floor, and big sports.
Foxy’s offers an outstanding casual cafe-style food menu, including children’s meals, as well as a large selection of beers, wine, and soft drinks, as well as a cocktail menu and the important cappuccino!
The General Store is located next to Foxy’s.
