Fitzroy Island Adventures catamaran cruise takes about 45 minutes. And will follow the coastline rather than venturing out into the open sea.
You may spend the day on Fitzroy Island swimming or lounging on the beach. If you prefer to explore the island on foot, there are numerous hiking paths that snake through the rainforest and along the coast. The underwater world is also full of wonder. Including a plethora of colorful fish and coral that can be seen while snorkeling. Consider the parrotfish’s rainbow colors. Keep an eye out for clownfish dashing in and out of anemones. And discover how many different species of aquatic creatures you can spot in the Great Barrier Reef’s splendor.

Fitzroy island Adventures Turtles
Most importantly, this package includes your snorkel rental for the day. Once you pick up your snorkel gear, head to the beach and see if you can spot a turtle having a swim. But remember, don’t get to close to them, as you don’t want to stress them out. And if you’re up for it, snorkel around Nudey Beach.

Snorkel Hire
A $50 cash deposit is required for all hired snorkel gear on the day. When all snorkel gear is returned the deposit will be returned.
Children Under 16 Years of Age
Those under 16 must travel with a guardian or parent.
Date Changes
Dates can be changed up to 24 HOURS before the tour departs at no additional charge (subject to any fees or penalties imposed by an operator other than Raging Thunder).
Fees
Credit Card Surcharges: A card surcharge applies for payments via our direct online booking cart. Credit card surcharges are subject to change and are non-refundable.
Cancellations and Refunds
A cancellation fee of 100% will apply if less than 24 hours notice is given prior to departure. Some services may be cancelled or modified as a result of weather/tidal conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. In the rare event that Fitzroy Island Adventures needs to cancel, the guest will be provided with an alternate day or travel, offered another Reef Unlimited product, or a full refund will be provided. Fitzroy Island Adventures also has the right to cancel a booking if the pricing is not accurately represented.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing your own travel insurance to cover possible unforeseen circumstances.
Packages
All tours included in a package must be completed within 14 days of starting the first tour (subject to availability).
Accessibility
We welcome guests with vision or hearing impairments and are happy to assist with boarding our vessels or vehicles. Guests with high support needs who are travelling with a carer are also welcome. Some of our vessels and destinations are more wheelchair accessible than others, we recommend contacting our Reservations team before booking to discuss the specific accessibility features and restrictions for your preferred tour.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers purchased directly through Reef Unlimited (online at reefunlimited.com or over the phone with our Reservations team) are valid for 3 years from the purchase date. Failure to redeem the gift voucher by the expiry date shown on the certificate will render your voucher invalid. Treat your voucher like cash and take care not to lose it. Lost or stolen gift vouchers are non-refundable and replacements are not available, you will be required to purchase a new voucher. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable, not redeemable for cash, but are transferable to another person. In order to transfer a gift voucher into another customer’s name, the original purchaser must contact our Reef Unlimited Reservations team to make the change. To redeem a Gift Voucher, call us on 1300 031 411 to book a tour. Once your voucher has been redeemed for a tour, our booking conditions will apply. Where the cost of your booking is greater than the value of your voucher, you will be required to pay the difference at the time of booking. Where the cost of your booking is less than the value of your voucher you will not be entitled to a refund.
