What to bring
- Please print a copy of your e-ticket or have it ready on your smart phone/tablet. Alternatively, note down your booking reference number for check-in.
- Resorts booked through Awesome Adventures Fiji provide linen and towels. Most also offer basic toiletries, though some may charge a small fee for towels in dorms. We suggest bringing your own toiletries and a towel. Also, pack sunscreen, insect repellent (with DEET or similar), swimwear, a sunhat, and sunglasses. Wear light, loose clothing during the day and something warmer for cooler evenings.
- Most resorts have generators, with many operating 24 hours a day. Voltage and power sockets match those in Australia and New Zealand (220–240 volts).
- Unless the resort states otherwise, avoid drinking water from rooms or bures, as it’s often not potable. However, most resorts filter water in kitchens, bars, and restaurants to drinking standards. Filtered drinking water is available for refilling reusable bottles.
- There are no banks in the Mamanuca or Yasawa Islands. Bring a credit/debit card for incidentals. ATMs are available at Nadi International Airport, Wailoaloa Bay, and Port Denarau if you need cash.
