Dreamtime snorkelers and divers will experience two premium outer reef sites. Dreamtime allows you a relaxing five hours to explore and gain a deeper cultural understanding of the diverse ecosystem and our indigenous heritage.

Don’t forget, we are the only Great Barrier Reef cruise that allows you to interact with original clap sticks. And fire poles, plus get live demonstrations of traditional dances and the didgeridoo.

Once at the reef, you will have the opportunity to explore the underwater world. With snorkelling and an introductory dive included in your experience, you guarantee a fantastic day on the reef.

Sea Sickness Tablets

If you are prone to motion sickness, it is recommended to take preventative measures around 30 minutes prior to the boat departing. Natural ginger tablets and medicated Travel-Calm are available on board.

Milln, Flynn, & Thetford Reefs are in Gunggandji Sea Country and are home to some of the best snorkelling and diving on the reef! You don’t want to miss getting in the water here.

Our other magnificent reef sites visited are in Yirrganydji Sea Country; these include Norman, Saxon, & Hastings Reefs.

  • By law, the minimum age to dive is 12 years. Anyone under 18 years will need a parent or guardians permission. We require anyone over the age of 70 to provide a doctor’s clearance to dive.
  • All Diving is subject to successful completion of an on-board medical questionnaire. It is vital to establish if you should be examined by a physician before participating in recreational diving.
  • Please answer the following questions on your past and present status with a YES or NO. If you are not sure, answer YES. If any of these items apply to you, we must request that you consult with a physician PRIOR to participating in scuba diving. It can be downloaded here.
  • Please note, certain medical conditions (i.e. asthma, epilepsy, high blood pressure or certain medications) may exclude individuals from diving. A positive response to a question does not necessarily disqualify you from diving, but indicates there is a pre-existing condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of a physician.

Reef Magic Cruises does not own or operate the Kuranda Rail, Skyrail, Rainforestation army duck & wildlife park or helicopter, coach, white water rafting or kayaking tours but acts as an agent for other companies conducting these services. When you use these services you contract with the operator of the services and are subject to conditions imposed therein some of which limit or exclude liability for death, personal injury, delay and loss of or damage to baggage. Those conditions are included in your contract with them. Reef Magic Cruises does not accept liability for the acts, omissions or defaults, whether negligent or otherwise of helicopter and coach operators providing services to you and over whom we have no direct and exclusive control;
  5. Reef Magic Cruises acts as a private carrier and reserves the right to refuse passage to any person and/or baggage. Reef Magic Cruises will not accept in checked baggage fragile or perishable items, money, cameras, electronic equipment, jewelry, business documents, passports or the other valuables. Unchecked baggage and your other personal property is at your own risk at all times
  6. Reef Magic Cruises may, in the event of increased security risk be required to implement heightened security measures including bag or personal searches.
  7. Videos and photographs purchased through Experience Co remain the copyright of Experience Co and they retain the right to the footage and photographs. Such footage maybe used by Experience Co for company marketing purposes and reproductions of videos sold. Video footage and photographs may only be used or reproduced by the purchaser or recipient for private or domestic purposes and must not be used for any commercial purpose, including promotion of any supplier or any supplier’s products or services without Experience Co’s prior permission. Should you not want any of your footage or photographs uploaded to Experience Co’s social media platforms, or used in company marketing, it is your responsibility to advise photographer or videographer on day of travel.
  8. Dreamtime Dive & Snorkel offer a cancellation free on and an amendment free policy on direct bookings as long as we are notified outside 24 hours of the departure time. If you cancel or no show for check in within 24 hours of the travel time (9am), there will be NO refund.
