Cruise through Macquarie Harbour and Hells Gates, the narrow entrance to the Southern Ocean. Step ashore at historic Sarah Island, a former penal settlement, before heading upriver into the rainforest. Wander along the boardwalk beneath ancient Huon pines, some over a thousand years old, and enjoy lunch onboard featuring Tasmanian produce. In the afternoon, travel to the lakeside town of Tullah, where, on a clear day, Mount Murchison reflects over Lake Rosebery. This evening, unwind with a group dinner and relax in our lakeside chalet. Upon reaching the Larapuna/Bay of Fires, you’ll be greeted by a dramatic change in landscape—bright white sands, vivid turquoise waters, and striking orange-hued granite boulders. Soak in the serenity of this spectacular coastal paradise. We end the day in St Helens, a charming fishing town known for its fresh seafood and coastal beauty.

We arrive at Eaglehawk Neck, a narrow isthmus and the gateway to the spectacular Tasman Peninsula.

All walks are optional, and take from 20 minutes to up to 4 hours. Track conditions vary considerably, and may include: boardwalks, steps, rocks, mud, sand, gravel or paved paths. In general, there are easier and harder options to choose from at each location. Some walks are guided, while others are unguided (free-walking).
