Pregnancy Advisory

Your safety and comfort are important to us. As our day tours may involve physical activity and operate in remote areas, some experiences may not be suitable for guests who are pregnant. Guests who are 28 weeks or more at time of travel are kindly asked to provide a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner confirming they are fit to participate in water activities. Depending on conditions, our skipper and crew may recommend limiting certain activities to help ensure everyone’s safety.

For safety and medical reasons, guests who are 32 weeks pregnant or more are unfortunately unable to participate in full day Great Barrier Reef tours or travel on the vessel due to the significant distance from land and medical services.

If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, we encourage you to contact the team at Explore Group before your trip so we can discuss your circumstances and help ensure you have the best possible experience. Our skipper and crew may restrict participation if they believe travel could present a safety risk.
