The SUMMIT INSIDER DAY CLIMB Journey
After completing your safety briefing and gearing up, you’ll be guided onto the Bridge to take your first step onto its iconic arches. Instantly, you’ll be in awe of the incredible scale of Australia’s most famous and celebrated landmark.
As you walk along the Bridge’s catwalks above Sydney Harbour, you’ll soon arrive at the base of the Bridge’s lower arch on the Opera House side. You’ll gradually ascend to the peak, enjoying breathtaking views all the way up. A short staircase takes you to the upper arch, bringing you to the Summit for a celebratory moment. After soaking in the spectacular views, you’ll cross the Bridge and begin your descent back to the BridgeClimb Base.
This Climb journey lasts up to 1.5 hours on the Bridge. There will be plenty of stops for photos and moments to take in the views. With no ladders involved, this Climb is perfect for adventurers of all ages (8+) and fitness levels. This ensures an unforgettable experience for everyone. - To complete the Climb you will need: A reasonable level of fitness and strength. Full body control and hand-eye-foot co-ordination. The ability to climb independently (unsupported by walking aids).
- Every Participant must complete a BridgeClimb Declaration Form before climbing. This will be provided to you on the day.
- The following may impact your ability to climb safely: If you are pregnant; If you are 75 years or age or over; All heart conditions (including low or high blood pressure); All respiratory conditions; Back, limb or joint injuries; Missing limbs or part thereof, inclusive of prosthetics; Vertigo, dizziness or loss of balance; visual impairment (except wearing prescription glasses or contact lenses), and learning difficulties.</li>
- Our Climb experiences include: Climbing high ladders and catwalks; Prolonged stair climbing; Uneven surfaces and narrow passageways; Exposure to all weather conditions
- <li>Pregnant Participants less than 24 weeks are required to consult a medical practitioner before climbing and must ask the medical practitioner to sign a BridgeClimb Certificate of Fitness Form and bring it with them on the day. If you are over 24 weeks pregnant you cannot climb.

- At BridgeClimb’s discretion, essential medication may be taken on the Climb (For example, asthma inhalers or diabetic medication). Please speak with a BridgeClimb Team Member on the day.
- If you believe your health and safety, or that of other Participants, may be put at risk by you taking part, you should not join the Climb. If you have concerns about your ability to participate safely, please consult your treating doctor. We recommend that all customers with any concerns read BridgeClimb’s Certificate of Fitness Form prior to Climbing.
- Please be aware that even if you have made a reservation, BridgeClimb reserves the right to decline participation or modify your chosen climbing experience. The health and safety conditions of climbing are subject to change at BridgeClimb’s discretion.
- The minimum age to Climb is 8 and the minimum height is 1.2 metres. One adult can accompany up to 3 children (8-15 years old).
- For safety and security reasons, items such as phones, wallets and cameras cannot be taken on the Climb. There are free lockers, where you can safely store your belongings while you are on the Climb.
- Everyone is breath tested before the Climb. You must have a blood alcohol reading below 0.05 to climb.

- Please bring with you any prescription glasses (if needed) and comfortable shoes to wear on the Climb. We will equip you with all the outdoor gear you’ll need to climb based on the day’s weather conditions.
- For safety, you cannot carry anything with you up on the Bridge. This includes cameras, video cameras, Go Pros or mobile phones. We provide lockers to keep your personal belongings in. Your Climb Leader will capture photos of you during your Climb.
STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following are the terms of trade of Feliz Puente Pty Ltd ABN 79 625 999 877 (“BridgeClimb Sydney”). These conditions apply to bookings made from 12 December 2024 onwards, including new bookings made with credit vouchers issued following trip cancellations. If you booked your trip prior to 12 December 2024, your original Booking Conditions still apply and can be found on our archived terms and conditions page.
BridgeClimb Sydney is the provider of all experiences conducted on the Sydney Harbour Bridge (“Bridge Experiences”), including the sale of Gift Vouchers for Bridge Experiences and other related or ancillary products and services. All dealings with BridgeClimb Sydney will be on these Terms of Trade (“Terms”) unless otherwise agreed in writing by BridgeClimb Sydney.
These Terms, along with the BridgeClimb Health Declaration and all health and safety information provided to persons who take part in experiences (“Guests”) comprise the Agreement between BridgeClimb Sydney and the guest or any other person acquiring a product or service from BridgeClimb Sydney (as applicable).
1. Experience
BridgeClimb Sydney reserves the right to add, withdraw, cancel , substitute and/or vary advertised routes and departure times for experiences with reasonable prior notice, in which case clause 8.2 applies.
2. CHECK-IN FOR An Experience
All BridgeClimb guests on the Sydney Harbour Bridge (“Bridge”) are required to arrive and ‘check-in’ at BridgeClimb Sydney’s premises at least 15 minutes prior to the advised departure time as per guest’s voucher or confirmation advice (“Proof of Purchase”). Subject to clause 9.1, failure to arrive by this time may result in non-admittance to an experience at BridgeClimb Sydney’s discretion, without refund.
3. REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE
3.1 Guests must hold a valid Proof of Purchase. Entry may be refused if the Proof of Purchase is damaged or defaced in any material way or not purchased from an authorised point of sale. Should a dispute arise over the validity of a Proof of Purchase, BridgeClimb Sydney reserves the right to refuse participation in an experience unless guests are able to show proof of their identity.
3.2 Guests must be 8 years of age or over, be at least 120cm, be of sound mind and be in good health. Guests may be required to undergo a test to assess whether they are capable of completing an experience. Every three guests between the ages of 8 and 15 inclusive climbing together must be accompanied by one paying guest of 18 years of age or older.
3.3 Prior to entering the BridgeClimb Sydney premises all persons including guests may be required to undergo a health assessment.
3.4 All guests of 18 years of age or older must provide valid Photo ID upon check-in, in order to participate in an experience. If a guest is between 15 and 18 years of age and does not have an accompanying guest of 18 years or age or older with valid Photo ID, the guest may be required to provide additional forms of identification as reasonably required by BridgeClimb Sydney (e.g. student card).
3.5 Before purchasing an experience, all guests must carefully read the Health & Safety Essentials found in our Pre-experience Checklist to ensure they are physically able to join, and before participating in an experience all guests must complete and sign the BridgeClimb Health Declaration, which will be provided to all bookers via email prior to their experience date. If the guest is under the age of 18 years and does not have the understanding necessary to sign a legal declaration, the guest’s legal parent or guardian must sign the declaration on behalf of the guest. If the guest does not satisfy the health assessment contemplated by the BridgeClimb Health Declaration, then BridgeClimb Sydney will take reasonable steps to accommodate the guest and their health requirements (if possible) and if no such reasonable steps are available, or if reasonable steps are not sufficient to adequately address the issue to BridgeClimb Sydney’s reasonable satisfaction, BridgeClimb Sydney will cancel the guest’s experience. If BridgeClimb Sydney cancels the guest’s experience under this clause it may (in its absolute discretion) offer a refund in accordance with clause 8.2.
3.6 BridgeClimb Sydney will perform a breath test on guests and may observe guests to ensure they are not under the influence of drugs (legal or illegal). Guests will be refused participation in an experience, without refund, if their blood alcohol concentration is 0.05% or greater, if they refuse to be breath tested or if BridgeClimb Sydney considers (acting reasonably) that they may be under the influence of drugs.
3.7 Smoking is not permitted on BridgeClimb Sydney’s premises or on the Bridge.
4. BRIDGECLIMB SYDNEY’S ABILITY TO REFUSE PARTICIPATION
4.1 BridgeClimb Sydney may refuse participation in an experience if, in BridgeClimb Sydney’s reasonable opinion, the experience or the participation of the guest in the experience may adversely affect the health, safety or security of BridgeClimb Sydney employees, agents, contractors and subcontractors (BridgeClimb Sydney Personnel), in which case clause 8.2 applies unless a person is refused participation in an experience by reason of breach of clause 2 above or 5.4 below.
5. DURING An Experience
5.1 BridgeClimb Sydney will supply guests with equipment for use during an experience. Use of this equipment is mandatory.
5.2 Guests may take their own standard glasses (sun or prescription) on an experience, at their own risk, provided that these glasses are securely attached using a BridgeClimb Sydney glasses lanyard and do not have any photographic or electronic devices included in their structure. At BridgeClimb Sydney’s discretion, potentially essential medication (e.g. asthma inhalers or other medication) may be taken on an experience. While this will be done in a secure manner by BridgeClimb Sydney Personnel, neither BridgeClimb Sydney nor BridgeClimb Sydney Personnel shall be responsible for the medication or the administering thereof. The guest must not take part in the experience if he or she has reason to believe that they will or are likely to require medication or the administration of medicines or medical assistance at any point during the experience.
5.3 Other than as set out in clause 5.1 and 5.2 above, guests are not permitted to take any items onto the Bridge (including but not limited to items such as cameras, videos, audio, pagers, mobile phones, handbags, satchels, wallets, watches, fitness trackers and any other personal items or effects) and must remove these items prior to undertaking the experience. Guests will be provided with a locker for storage of personal belongings. To ensure that unauthorised items are not carried on to the Bridge, guests will be required to pass through a metal objects screening system prior to undertaking the experience, and BridgeClimb Sydney (in its discretion) may refuse a guests’s participation in an experience (without refund) if a guest is unwilling to remove any unauthorised items set out in this clause.
5.4 All guests must obey the reasonable directions and instructions of BridgeClimb Sydney Personnel, and must not act disruptively or disturb other guests or interfere with a BridgeClimb Sydney Personnel’s ability to conduct any part of the experience process in a safe and secure manner and must not damage, deface or remove any part of the Bridge or any of the equipment supplied for use on an experience. Disruptive behaviour includes making any jokes or flippant remarks about security. BridgeClimb Sydney retains the right to remove from an experience any guest who does not comply with these terms, without refund.
6. PHOTOGRAPHS AND OTHER IMAGE OR SOUND CAPTURE DEVICES
6.1 Photographs obtained from BridgeClimb Sydney remain copyright to BridgeClimb Sydney and may only be used or reproduced by the purchaser or recipient for private or domestic purposes and must not be used for any commercial purpose, including promotion of any supplier or any supplier’s products or services, without BridgeClimb Sydney’s prior written permission.
6.2 All personal information you provide to us will be dealt with in accordance with the BridgeClimb Privacy Policy and the Photo Site Privacy Policy available at http://www.bridgeclimbphotos.com.
6.3 Cameras and other image or sound capture devices are not permitted on the Bridge unless supplied by BridgeClimb Sydney.
6.4 Guests agrees that BridgeClimb Sydney may inspect bags, containers or any other items brought onto BridgeClimb Sydney’s premises. Guests also agrees that if an unauthorised image or sound capture device is taken onto the Bridge then BridgeClimb Sydney may remove or delete any images, sound or any other material from the device that pertains to the Bridge or BridgeClimb Sydney.
7. TERMS OF PAYMENT
7.1 Subject to clause 9.1, the purchase of an experience is non-transferable and specific to a particular experience as stated in the Proof of Purchase. Experiences and Gift Vouchers, rights or entitlements to experiences and Gift Vouchers, or to purchase experiences and Gift Vouchers must not be offered as prizes, offered for sale or resale, or resold or used for any commercial purpose (including without limitation promotion of any supplier or any supplier’s products or services) without BridgeClimb Sydney’s prior written consent. If BridgeClimb Sydney reasonably believes that these activities have occurred without such consent, the holder of a reservation or Gift Voucher may be refused participation in an experience, without payment or any compensation.
7.2
(a) Experience times reserved can be changed by the guest with no fees up to fourteen (14) days before the original date, and changed only by time or date to another available time or date. Changes requested within 13 days to 72 hours incur a $30 change fee per booking, and changes within 72 hours incur a $100 change fee per booking.
(b) Experiences are priced differently on different days and times, if the requested change is to a higher priced experience, the guest must pay the difference between the price for the new date/time and the price paid for the original date/time. No refunds or credits will be made in relation to choosing an experience with a date/time of lesser value.
(c) Where the same experience type (e.g. Summit, Summit Insider, Burrawa, Utimate or UnderBridge Walk) is not available, BridgeClimb Sydney may, in its absolute discretion, allow you to change to a different experience type of lower value and may, in its absolute discretion, allow you to apply the difference in value (subject to the fees specified in clause 7.2(a)) towards purchasing another experience within a one year period from the date the booking change is made or otherwise be issued with a credit voucher (valid for one year from the date of issuance). Any difference in value is not redeemable for cash.
(d) Reduction in the number of participants or changes to the identity of guests is not permitted. BridgeClimb Sydney reserves the right to charge a rebooking fee and an administrative fee for other requested changes where permitted by BridgeClimb Sydney. The applicable rebooking fee and administrative fee can be obtained by contacting BridgeClimb Sydney on +61 2 8274 7777.
(e) For the avoidance of doubt, and not withstanding anything in this clause 7, experiences are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. Any requests for refunds are at the sole discretion of BridgeClimb Sydney and must be made by contacting BridgeClimb Sydney on +61 2 8274 7777.
7.3 All experiences must be paid for at the time of making the reservation unless otherwise agreed by BridgeClimb Sydney in advance.
7.4 Depending on the payment method used when booking, a transaction fee of 1% may apply. The surcharge applies to all bookings using the following payment methods; AMEX, VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, GooglePay and ApplePay.
8. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
8.1 Experiences will not proceed if BridgeClimb Sydney decides to cancel an experience for health, safety or security reasons or other reasonably necessary reasons, including but not limited to inclement weather, restrictions on access, occupancy and/or movement required by any Commonwealth, State, Territory or local government agency or body (including, any transport, road or maritime authority in New South Wales) (“Government Agency”), or any matters out of the reasonable control of BridgeClimb Sydney.
8.2 Should an experience not proceed due to the reasons specified in clause 8.1 or where the guest is not permitted to join under clauses 3.5 or 4.1, then (subject to clause 3.5 or 4.1, if applicable) guests will be (at the election of the guest):
- (i) re-scheduled at their convenience to a different experience type (without a rebooking fee but subject to clause 7.2(b));
- (ii) issued with a credit voucher; or
- (iii) other than where the guest is not permitted to join under clause 4.1, reimbursed the price paid for an experience.
Other than as specified in this clause 8.2, guests have no claim whatsoever (including no claim for travel expenses or any other out of pocket expenses) relating to the cancellation of an experience.
8.3 Cancellations by guests of standard full priced experience bookings up to 14 days before the date will not incur a fee, cancellations within 13 days to 72 hours will incur a $25 cancellation fee per Adult ticket and within 72hrs a 50% cancellation fee per booking will be charged. See flexible booking policy for full breakdown of fees and charges relating to cancellations, dates changes and credit requests. This clause and the flexible booking policy is subject to change at any time provided that, in respect of a guest, the flexible booking policy prevailing at the time of purchase continue to apply.
9. BRIDGECLIMB SYDNEY’S LIABILITY
9.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits or modifies any condition, guarantee, warranty, right or remedy implied or imposed by any statute or regulation which cannot lawfully be excluded, limited or modified. This may include the Australian Consumer Law which contains guarantees that protect the purchasers of goods and services in certain circumstances. Subject to the last sentence, express or implied guarantees, representations, conditions, warranties and other provisions relating to these Terms, or provision of products and services as contemplated by these Terms, are excluded from these Terms to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9.2 If any guarantee, warranty, term or condition is implied or imposed in relation to these Terms under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation and cannot be excluded
(a “Non-Excludable Provision”), and BridgeClimb Sydney is able to limit remedy for a breach of that Non-Excludable Provision, then the liability of BridgeClimb Sydney for breach of that Non-Excludable Provision is limited to one or more of the following at BridgeClimb Sydney’s election: in the case of products, to: replacement of the products or supply of equivalent products, repair of the products; payment of the cost of replacing the products or of acquiring equivalent products; or payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and in the case of services, to: supply of the services again; or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again. This clause 9.2 is subject to clause 9.4(a).
9.3 The guest acknowledges that the experience is a recreational activity that involves an element of risk and BridgeClimb Sydney, any transport, road or maritime Government Agency or authority in New South Wales and any reseller of BridgeClimb Sydney products (“Service Providers”), therefore cannot guarantee the guest’s health and safety. These risks include the risk of physical injury or death, the inducement or exacerbation of medical conditions, mental harm or distress, and damage to their property. The guest acknowledges that his/her health, ability and conduct will affect such risks.
9.4
(a) Despite any other provision of these terms and conditions, to the extent the experience is a “recreational activity”, “recreational service” or the like under section 139A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or equivalent applicable law, the Service Providers (and their respective directors, employees, agents, sub-contractors, associates and assignees) (the “Relevant Persons”), to the extent permitted by law, exclude all liability for death, physical or mental injury, aggravation of disease or other harm suffered by a guest in relation to the supply of the recreational services.
(b) Subject to sections 9.1, 9.2 and 9.5, the guest, and (where guest is under the age of 18 years and does not have the understanding necessary to sign the Form) the legal parent or guardian signing this Agreement on behalf of the guest, absolutely, unconditionally and irrevocably releases and indemnifies the Relevant Persons from and against all action, proceedings, claims, demands, costs, losses, damages and expenses suffered or incurred by the Relevant Persons arising out of or in connection with:
- (i) the guest’s failure to comply with the reasonable directions of a Relevant Person as relates to operational and health and safety; or
- (ii) the guest breaching the requirements to participate in the experience contemplated in clause 3, including any intentionally misleading act or omission relating to the guest’s health assessment
(c) Subject to sections 9.1, 9.2 and 9.5, the Relevant Persons will not be liable (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, equity or otherwise) for any costs, losses, damages and expenses that may be suffered or incurred in connection with the guest’s participation in the experience or their presence on the Bridge.
9.5 Nothing in this section 9 above limits or excludes the liability of the Relevant Persons for any costs, losses, damages or expenses to the extent arising as a result of fraudulent or reckless conduct of the Relevant Persons, nor any liability of the Relevant Persons that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. RESELLERS
If you made your booking or otherwise purchases an experience or a Gift Voucher from a reseller, then these Terms do not apply to you (other than as set out in your agreement with the relevant reseller) and your agreement is between you and the relevant Reseller. BridgeClimb accepts no responsibility or liability in respect of such reseller agreements.
11. GIFT VOUCHERS
11.1 Gift Vouchers are sold for a specific product or range of products or monetary value. Gift Vouchers are non-refundable but are transferable. Gift Vouchers must not be offered as prizes or resold or used for any commercial purpose, including promotion of any supplier or their products or services, without BridgeClimb Sydney’s prior written permission.
11.2 BridgeClimb Sydney reserves the right to discontinue the sale of any product purchased on a Gift Voucher, but agrees to replace that discontinued with any other item to the same value.
11.3 A Gift Voucher must be redeemed within 3 years from date of purchase and an experience must take place within the 3 years.
12. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All Terms and Conditions stated are subject to change without notice, provided that, in respect of any guest who has already purchased their experience or Gift Voucher, the Terms and Conditions prevailing at the time of purchase continue to apply.
13. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. BridgeClimb Sydney and each purchaser and guest submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia in respect of this Agreement and any dispute between them.
