Pick up at 7am from your nominated accommodation in Darwin.
We start our Kakadu tour by heading towards Kakadu to join a crocodile cruise. This is a great opportunity to get fantastic photo of the local wildlife.
Welcome to Kakadu National Park!
Arrive at Nourlangie Rock, an ancient Aboriginal occupational and art site. Explore the sites before walking up to Gunwhardewharde lookout for an exceptional view over the escarpment, including Nawurlandja.
After a visit to the Warradjan Cultural Centre, we make our way to Mardugal Safari camp nestled in the heart of Kakadu.
Dinner tonight is a traditional Aussie BBQ*
Early to rise for a big day and some great walks!
Pack up camp and head to either Gunlom Falls (when accessible) or Yurmikmik. These walks will get your heart rate up, however you will be rewarded with a refreshing swim.
Back to the 4WD and it’s off to Ikoymarrwa Rock Holes (Moline) for another swim.
The days are hot and the storms are building up so it’s time to head to our camp at Mary River. Tonight, you will enjoy the comfort of air-conditioned dorm rooms, with the option to camp if preferred!

Up early again to head to Litchfield National Park.
First stop is Wangi Falls for a swim in its beautiful natural plunge pool.
We then visit Tolmer Falls with its spectacular views over Litchfield National Park before making our way to relax at Buley Rockhole’s. Enjoy a picnic lunch and then head onto Florence falls for a cool swim.
On our way back to Darwin we get the opportunity to explore giant termite mounds.
Return to Darwin approximately 5.30pm
