Explore the Australian World Heritage rainforests with Bushwacker Eco Tours. This journey visits Tamborine National Park as well as the Springbrook Rainforest.

Departures

  • Departs Brisbane Bus Stop 125, Roma street 7am
  • Brisbane returns at 6pm

Start your tour at Natural Arch, a cave and waterfall located in a rainforest that has been designated as a World Heritage Site.

Visit the purpose-built cave, which features stalactites and stalagmites that are incredibly natural in appearance. A knowledgeable guide will take you on a short hike through the rain forest to a cave during the trip, where you’ll watch a quick documentary on glow worms. After the movie, your tour guide will take you into the cave that is home to hundreds of glowing glow worms so that everyone can get a close-up look at one. There is no crouching or crawling through confined passages necessary to enter the cave.

Take a charming stroll through a wet eucalyptus forest, past flooded gums that tower over you, and into a cool, lush rainforest. Stop to admire the intricate strangler fig and search for the lovely raven nest and staghorn ferns in the canopy.
You’ll be in awe as soon as you see Curtis Falls for the first time. A furious torrent or soft curtain of water cascades over enormous basalt columns to the pool below, depending on the season. The columns are a result of the area’s extensive volcanic past.
View fish and eels in the rock pool, and look for basking turtles on overgrown logs. The neighbourhood platypus might be visible if you’re lucky.
