Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures

Hartley’s is located 40 kilometres (40 minutes) north-west of Cairns. Also, on the Captain Cook Highway, 25 kilometres south of Port Douglas,.
Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is one of Australia’s oldest continuously functioning tourist attractions. The company originated in 1934 as a rest stop for tired truckers.
Hartley’s, for example, is the best place in North Queensland to watch crocodiles up close. During your visit, take a 25-minute sail on Hartley’s Lagoon in specially constructed boats. Crocodile sightings in a coastal Melaleuca wetland (included in the ticket).

The crocodile farm and wildlife tourism attraction currently take up more than 15 hectares of woodland. There is an abundance of native vegetation and fauna there. Providing an authentic wildlife experience

Bird World Kuranda

At Kuranda Bird World, you can immerse yourself in one of Tropical North Queensland’s most distinctive wildlife attractions. The natural habitats of around 60 local and alien species are replicated at Birdworld Kuranda. That roams the one-of-a-kind rainforest habitat that we’ve developed. There will be handfeeding and photo opportunities, so bring your camera.

Species from the world’s rainforests, including some of Australia’s most valuable and beautiful birds, are flying about you. There are magnificent Amazonian macaws, the endangered cassowary, rainbow lorikeets, galahs, cockatoos, and many other species.
Waterfalls, ponds, and exotic and native vegetation naturally landscape Bird World.

Birdworld Kuranda is a site where you can interact with the birds in their natural habitat. Surround yourself in their rainforest habitat and be amazed by the more than 350 birds on display, including the Finch Aviary.

Kuranda Koala Gardens

Kuranda Koala Gardens is a small wildlife park. Located in the world-renowned rainforest settlement of Kuranda,. The wildlife park, located in the Kuranda Heritage Markets, is home to a diverse range of Australian animals.
For example, we are one of the few spots in Australia where you can take a souvenir photo with a Koala (extra cost).

The freshly opened Aussie Bush Collection features an intriguing mix of marsupials and reptiles that coexist together.

Long-nosed potoroos, bearded dragons, and blue-tongue lizards can all be found here.

Above all, Kuranda Koala Gardens is home to the only nocturnal exhibit in our Tableland region, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with night-loving marsupials such as the Greater Bilby, Northern Bettong, and the rare Mahogany Gliders.

To sum up, the Great Australian Wildlife Experience is an excellent bargain for self-drivers and, more significantly, for those who enjoy getting up close and personal with nature.
