To begin, experience the tranquilly and quiet of the Great Barrier Reef aboard Calypso Snorkel, a specialist snorkelling yacht that departs Port Douglas daily.
Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef is one of the most incredible experiences imaginable. With much of the reef’s colour and marine life visible within a few metres of the water’s surface, snorkelling allows all swimmers, regardless of skill level, to get up close and personal with this unique eco-system.

Float smoothly through vibrant coral gardens brimming with life, from clownfish to the graceful beauty of the green turtle. Hundreds of species will be encountered during your visit to Opal Reef with Calypso, including giant clams, stingrays, maori wrasse, cod, and colourful parrotfish.

This 21-metre yacht features comfy day bed seating as well as expansive decks and a professional experienced crew, ensuring that each guest has a unique and personalised Great Barrier Reef experience.
