Travel by 4WD to Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world and a World Heritage Site. Sets off from the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Caloundra, Noosa, and Rainbow Beach

As you leave Brisbane, cross the Glass House Mountains and the well-known Steve Irwin Route on your way to the Cooloola Beach Highway, the Sunshine Coast, and the Noosa River Ferry. Before reaching Rainbow Beach, enjoy this 4WD ride along Double Island Point’s surf beach and coloured hills. Before 4W Driving along the Inskip Point track to the sandy beaches where we take the ferry to Fraser Island, there will be a little rest. Prior to your arrival, all tickets and National park fees were organised. Take pictures of Fraser Island’s west coast and Hervey Bay as we travel across the bay and keep an eye out for dolphins, turtles, dugong, sharks, eagles, sea birds, and fish.

75 mile Beach

The Fraser Island World Heritage National Park is where you arrive. And what a stunning view you will find. As you 4WD Fraser Island’s 75 Mile Surf Beach and keep a watch out for dingoes, kangaroos, and whales, your local guide will provide knowledge and tales, both old and new (in season). By using a 4WD, this route will span up to 8 Freshwater Creeks and the southernmost point of Fraser Island, including Hook Point.

Visit Central Station Rainforest to explore the world’s largest rain forest growing on sand, Satinay and Kauri trees, and Eco Boardwalk along renowned Wanggoolba Creek.

Take a stroll along the pristine, white sand beaches of Lake McKenzie after passing Pile Valley and Satinay Forest.
Enjoy a picnic meal, chilled beverages, and fresh fruit besides a lake or rain forest.
Return via the Govi Creek Dilli Village environmental Eco-Camp, the 75 mile surf beach roadway, and the Eurong Beach Resort.
Before getting on the ferry, take pictures of Double Island and the contrasting dunes.
Before returning to Brisbane, take a break at Rainbow Beach or Noosa.
