Get ready for an action packed day with Bushwacker Moreton island 1 day tour

Bushwacker Moreton Island 1 day snorkel & sandboard adventure starts with a Roma street Brisbane pick up approx 7 am. And then onto your luxury cruise across beautiful Moreton Bay to Moreton Island. When we get there, we get in our 4WD and drive right off the ferry and into the beach. Moreton Island here we are and is the worlds third largest sand island of which 98% is a protected National Park, with no sealed roads, 4WD is the only mode of transport!

Travelling by 4WD along Middle Road, we pass through thick eucalypt
forest, featuring beautiful Xanthorrhoea (Grass Trees) up to 250 years
old on our way to The Desert, the home of Sand Boarding.

Tangalooma Shipwrecks

Bring your camera so you may take lots of stunning pictures! Take a minute to unwind on the white sand beach while your guide prepares a delicious picnic meal. Take a leisurely stroll, a swim, or just some downtime to sunbake.We take you on a guided snorkel tour of the Tangalooma Shipwrecks following lunch. The Tangalooma Shipwrecks, which have 15 shipwrecks just 50 metres off the coastline, and are one of Queensland’s most diverse marine ecosystems. See a wide variety of marine creatures, such as Butterbrim, Blue-Tang Surgeonfish (Dory), Clown Fish (Nemo), Big Eye Trevally, and Wobbegong! Choose between snorkelling or kayaking around these recognisable wrecks with our guide.

Some info on Moreton

Off the coast of south-east Queensland, sits Moreton Island. Beaches and sloping dunes, such Mount Tempest, can be found on the safe sand island. The Tangalooma Wrecks, a collection of sunken boats, are surrounded by coral reefs and tropical fish at a diving spot on the west coast.
