Join us on this one-day Litchfield National Park Tour for a rejuvenating experience, a chance to see the amazing diversity of the Northern Territory, and a chance to reenergize.
Allow Autopia tours 1 day Litchfield tour show you one of our favourite places on earth… Litchfield National Park. Just over an hours drive from the city. We leave Darwin and make our way towards the world class Litchfield National Park surrounded by thick pockets of tropical rainforest, but it offers cool respite from the Top End heat.
The Spectacular Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River is an optional extra that you can take at the first rest stop along the route. Alternatively, you can choose to visit the Fogg Dam Conservation Center. One of the most breathtaking locations to discover the Top End’s diverse wildlife is on the traditional lands of the Limilngan-Wulna people, who actively participate in the management of the reserve. These lands are home to numerous bird species, turtles, water pythons, and, of course, the recognisable Saltwater Crocodile.
A chance to cool off in one of Litchfield’s stunning natural plunge pools, such as Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls, will follow our tour to some amazing monolithic Magnetic Termite Mounds. When you see a roaring waterfall like Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls, you will be in awe of the incredible beauty it has carved out of the surrounding rocky cliff. After spending the day in the breathtaking tropical national park, we go back to Darwin feeling completely revitalised and calm.
