The Rock Tour “3 Day Uluru” is a Camping Tour that departs every day from Ayers Rock (Uluru). This is an energetic tour that includes Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset & Sunrise, Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and Kings Canyon. All meals are included.
We can pick up from any flightbetween 11.30am – 2.00pm from Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru)
Pick up from YHA Ayers Rock (OutbackPioneer) at 12.00pm from the main reception

Those arrivinginto Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru) on the Cairns or Brisbane flight in themorning can catch the free shuttle bus to Ayers Rock Resort(Outback Pioneer) for pick up at 12.00pm.

Sleeping bags:You can hire a sleeping bag for $20.00 if needed and this can be paid direct to The Rock Tour before you start the tour.
Day 1: Uluru Base Walk & Uluru Sunset (L,D)
You will be picked up at the Ayers Rock Airport (Uluru) or YHA Ayers Rock (Outback Pioneer). Take in a memorableUluru Base Walk and wonder at thespiritual significance of Kantju Gorge,Mutijulu Waterholeand Aboriginal Cave Paintings. We then head to the Sunset Viewing Area for Uluru Sunset then back to Ayers Rock Campground with toilets and showers.
Day 2: Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sunrise (B, L, D)
Up early for Uluru Sunrise before we head off to The Olgas. Feel the spiritual significance of the Valley of the Windsat Kata Tjuta. Your Guide will show you some bush tucker along the hike. You will then head to Kings Creek Station after lunch. We spend this night at Kings Creek Station with toilets and showers.
Day 3: Kings Canyon (B, L)
First destination is KingsCanyon after breakfast. Enjoy a 3 hour hike through the sandstone domes of the LostCity. Visit theAmphitheatre, North & South Walls. We stop on the way home for lunch at Erldunda. You will arrive back in Alice Springs at approximately 5:00pm. Back to civilisation, get cleaned up and meet your Guide for dinner and a couple of beers at The Rock Bar at 7:00pm.
Wesupply: All meals as stated, transport, air conditioned comfortable 21 seat buses, fun and experienced tour guide, swags and camping equipment.
Sleeping Bags can be hired for $20 each.
Youwill need to bring: sturdy walking shoes, a torch, a hat, sunscreen, 2 water bottles, towel,swimmers, toiletries, camera and sunglasses. Warm clothes for the winter and comfortable light fitting clothes for the summer. Your luggage can be stored in the trailor during the tour.
You will need to bring 3 litres of water each (x2 bottles of 1.5l). You can purchase this at the Cultural Centre in Ayers Rock if needed or bring empty bottles with you on the plane.
