Darwin, one of the most modern cities in Australia, is doubled with a large amount of immense history and culture. Aussie Wanderers allows you to explore parts of the Northern Territory’s capital city through their Perth to Darwin tours.

Join us on a journey along the West Coast and into the wild and remote Kimberley wilderness where you will experience a fantastic combination of adventure, cool hostels, amazing coastline, wildlife, camping and tranquillity. Aussie Adventure Tours offer Perth to Darwin tours from the end of May until mid-October each year, the best time to visit Darwin.

**Day 1 - Perth to Kalbarri**

Our first stop will be the impressive Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. You’ll enjoy a fully guided tour through these amazing limestone formations and drop in at the Discovery Centre before we have lunch by the sea. After a quick stop in the town of Geraldton it will be on to Big River Ranch for some true blue Aussie hospitality and our overnight stay. (L, D)

**Day 2 - Kalbarri to Shark Bay - Monkey Mia**

We will visit the marvels of The Murchison Gorge, Natures Window and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park. Here you will have the option to try abseiling into the gorge ($30)! If conditions allow us, we will cool off with a swim in the Murchison River before we’re back on the bus travelling north to Shell Beach and Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort for our accommodation. **Day 3 - Shark Bay to Coral Bay**

The morning of day 3 we will meet the famous Monkey Mia Dolphins and get some amazing photos. Then join us on an optional 1 hour wild life sail ($35), hire a Kayak and go for a paddle ($15), chill out on the beach or at the resort. Then it will be back on the road mid-morning we visit the breathing rock formations, the Stromatolites, before settling in to our accommodation in Coral Bay, located right on the famous Ningaloo Reef! **Day 4 - Coral Bay**

Day 4 is yours to enjoy the many great tours and activities Coral Bay has to offer, with special discounts available as an Aussie Wanderer passenger! Go for a stroll on the beach and check out the shark nursery, swim with the manta rays, hang out at the local or go for a snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef only meters from shore. On this evening we take the short drive up the peninsular to Exmouth and check in to our accommodation. (B, D)

**Day 5 - Exmouth**

We will spend exploring Cape Range National park, a spectacular place of rugged limestone ranges, breathtaking deep canyons and 50km of pristine beaches. Experience snorkelling at the stunning Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire $10), visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, relax at Milyearing Visitors Centre and more before we return to our accommodation late afternoon. **Day 6 - Exmouth to Karijini National Park**

Up early on day 6 as we will travel east through station country and stop at Tom Price, the highest town in Western Australia, for supplies. Then we will head to the amazing Karijini National Park where we will stay at the multi award winning Karijini Eco Retreat in Eco Safari Tents with your own verandah, quality beds, linen and hot showers! **Day 7 & 8 - Karijini**

The next 2 days will give us plenty of time to explore Karijini National Park and to enjoy 2.5 billion years of evolution and 40.000 years of culture. We will visit and hike the gorges, swim in amazing rock pools, stand under waterfalls and explore intriguing rock formations including Hancock Gorge, Weano Gorge and its adventurous Handrail Pool, Dales Gorge, Circular Pool, Fortescue Falls, Fern Pool and more. Then later on the second day we will travel further north to Pardoo Roadhouse and check in our tents or swags for a night of camping under the stars. (B, L, D)

**Day 9 - Pardoo Road House to Broome**

The morning of day 9 sees us arrive at 80 Mile Beach for some awesome photos! When we arrive in Broome we will take you for a tour around town before we check in at our accommodation, The Kimberley Klub Backpackers. (B, L)

**Day 10 & 11 - Broome**

The next two days will allow you to enjoy free time and all that Broome has to offer! Go for a swim at the stunning Cable Beach, explore China Town and its pearling history, watch a movie at the world’s oldest open air cinema or ride a camel on the beach with sunset! Ask your tour guide for any assistance with booking tours. Then you will check out the cultural variety of eating venues for your lunches and dinners or cook your own at the hostel.

**Day 12 - Broome to Silent Grove**

We will be departing Broome early we head east towards the Gibb River Road and arrive at Windjana Gorge in the Napier Ranges for lunch. After lunch we will explore the gorge to view the native birds and resident freshwater crocodiles. On this afternoon we explore Tunnel Creek, an ancient reef system which is said to have existed 350 million years ago – before heading to Silent Grove for our first night at our campsite under the stars. **Day 13 - Silent Grove to Mt Elizabeth**

On day 13, enjoy waking up to the wilderness so very far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. You will explore more of the region’s gorges including Bell, Galvans and Manning. The water levels at the time of your journey will determine which gorges you visit, however each are unique and special in their own right. After a day of walking and swimming in these magnificent natural attractions we will travel to our overnight location of Mount Elizabeth Station. (B, L, D)

**Day 14 - Mt Elizabeth to El Questro**

Heading further east we will explore, swim and hike this amazing part of the world. We will then drive across the Pentacost River and visit the beautiful Emma Gorge before arriving at El Questro for our first of two nights in this outback oasis. (B, L, D)

**Day 15 - El Questro**

Day 15 will allow you to discover some of the one million acres of the El Questro Wilderness Park. We will soak in Zebedee Springs and then visit El Questro Gorge. Continuing your exploration through the many optional activities on offer. (B, L, D)

**Day 16 - El Questro to The Bungle Bungles**

On this day we will make our way to Purnululu National Park home of the world famous Bungle Bungles. Then in the afternoon we will begin exploring the amazing sandstone formations of Echidna Chasm before giving the 4WD a hard-earned rest and settle into camp for a relaxing evening. (B, L, D)

**Day 17 - Bungle Bungles to Lake Argyle**

On the morning of day 17 we will explore Picanninny Creek, The Domes and Cathedral Gorge with plenty of opportunities to take incredible photos of the famous 'beehive' shaped domes. There is also the option to take a helicopter ride over the domes, definitely one to tick off of the bucket list! We will then head towards Kununurra and make camp at the Argyle Tourist Village. **Day 18 - Lake Argyle to Victoria River**

On this morning we will explore Australia’s largest man-made lake, Lake Argyle. You can take an optional cruise on the lake, visit the Dam wall and have lunch by the Ord River before we cross the border into the Northern Territory and set up camp at Victoria River. (B, L, D)

**Day 19 - Victoria River to Darwin**

Our final day sees us visit one of the Northern Territory’s most stunning areas, Nitmiluk National Park with its towering cliff walls and meandering waterways. We will visit Edith Falls before arriving in Darwin in the early evening. (B, L)
